Dr.Minh Luong
Dr. Minh Luong received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California Irvine. She then attended Dental School at University of Southern California and graduated in 1998.
In late 1998, Dr. Minh Luong traveled to Vietnam to teach oral hygiene care and to provide oral care products to under-previledged children in high poverty areas. She then practiced dentistry on the Navajo Reservation as a Lieutenant in the Navy in Arizona where she dedicated most of her time taking care of Native children with low oral healthcare. After that she practiced in Salem, Oregon also limiting to taking care of children's oral health. In early 2001, Dr. Minh Luong moved to Las Vegas and has limited her practice to children under the age of twenty-one.
In 2002 she traveled to Sri Lanka to treat children in convalescence homes and at multiple war refugee camps. She is now actively serving her community. She also donates her time and offices to provide dental treatment to Smiles for Kids Club. She is currently on staff at Sunrise Hospital and several surgery centers.
Dr. Minh Luong is a member of American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association and Southern Nevada Dental Society.
Doctor Minh Luong enjoys traveling to different countries to appreciate
their culture. She likes to bike, fish, water ski, and wind surf.

Getting to Know
Dr. Jeff Herman
Dr. Jeff Herman grew up in Chicago, Illinois and received his B.A. in biology from Indiana University. He then attended dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry graduating with honors in 1996. Dr. Jeff Herman then completed a General Practice Residency treating children and medically compromised patients at the University of Illinois Hospitals. He was made an honorary member of the American Association of Hospital Dentists in recognition of his excellence in patient care during residency.
In 1997, Dr. Jeff Herman became a lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service and practiced dentistry on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico for two years. There he was recognized for his dedication to the pediatric dental program. He then practiced in Salem, Oregon limiting his care of patients to children and moved to Las Vegas in 2002. He has been active in community health projects and has privileges at multiple surgery centers.
He is licensed in the states of Illinois, Oregon, and Nevada.
In his spare time, Dr. Jeff enjoys camping, hiking, and mountain biking on weekends. He also enjoy gardening and practicing yoga throughout the week. He also volunteers at fabulous cactus nursery in the town of Blue Diamond whenever possible.
Getting to Know
Dr. Jody Lin
Dr. Jody Lin was born in Taiwan. She moved to the U. S. at the age of 11. Dr. Lin received her Bachelor Degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lin was active in the community. She volunteered in many events including Boston University's annual sealants for kids program.
Dr. Lin spent three months at the Indian Health Services in Fort Defiance, Arizona. She worked at the dental clinic in the Fort Defiance Hospital serving the Navajo Indians. Dr. Lin spent hours in the surgery room restoring the dental health of the Navajo children. She participated in many programs educating new moms regarding natal oral care. She had also created a presentation on the prevention of caries in young children.
Dr. Jody Lin moved to Las Vegas in October of 2006. She joined the Toothfairy Children's Dental soon after. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Southern Nevada Dental Society.
In her free time, she enjoys skiing, cooking, watching foreign films, and discovering new restaurants. She tries to watch as many shows on the Food Network Channel as possible. Every winter, she makes time to travel to many ski resorts.
